it@cork is a not-for-profit industry organisation that supports businesses that depend on Information Technology in the Cork region. It provides a forum for businesses that have a key dependency on IT, to share best practices and to network. It also supports the promotion of the region to external investors and works with other regional stakeholders to promote IT related opportunities. The network organises monthly information and networking events for its members and annually hosts the biggest IT conference outside Dublin.

To foster an interest in the engineering profession, IEEE also serves student members in colleges and universities around the world.
